Vibe coding for companies
Your teams build software with AI.Here it runs safely.
Describe what you need in your own words. Openbase.one checks every version with test personas before it goes live, keeps every app isolated from the network and behind clear permissions, and takes you back to the last version in one click. Ready-made apps come from an App Store that keeps growing.
No credit card, no setup call. In your own workspace in 30 seconds.

Build an app
The problem
Building is fast now. Running it well is rare.
Teams already build their own apps with AI tools. That is good: nobody knows the work better. But the app then ends up somewhere, with real company data, no permission model, no tests and nobody who still looks after it tomorrow.
App from an AI tool
- Runs on a private account
- Sharing means passing on a link
- Nobody decides who may see what
- No tests, no way back
- IT hears about it last
The same app in Openbase.one
- Runs in the company workspace
- Sign-in with company accounts
- Permissions per role, checked for every view
- Every version tested, back anytime
- Admins see every app and every change
Guardrails
Freedom for the teams. Peace of mind for IT.
Every app built in your workspace runs inside the same guardrails. Nobody has to build them in, nobody can forget them.
Checked before it goes live
Every version is built and opened in a real browser as every test persona. It goes live only once the check passes.
Isolated, without network
App code runs in its own sealed environment. It reaches neither the internet nor other workspaces.
Permissions on every access
Apps write no SQL. Every data access goes through the platform and is checked against workspace, app and permissions.
Back anytime
Every version is kept. If something goes wrong, the previous version is live again in one click.
Updates on your terms
Installed apps update automatically or only once you agree. You set it per app.
Yours
The code of every app you build lives as a git repository in your workspace, and your data can be exported. No lock-in.
Safe here means: checked, isolated, reversible. Whether an app gets the substance right is your call, and a support contract helps with that.
Your own apps
Whatever the store is missing, you build yourself.
Nobody knows your processes better than you do. Describe what you need in your own words. A build agent builds the app, Openbase.one asks you only the domain questions and checks every version before it goes live. No code for you, no IT ticket, no agency.
- 1
Describe
What the app should do and who may see what, in your own words.
- 2
Decide on the domain
Openbase.one only asks what you have to decide as the domain expert. The technology is not your problem.
- 3
Checked, then live
Every version is built and tested with test personas. It only goes live once every rule is proven.

Domain question
Does a contract end automatically at the end of probation?
No, only after notice.
- Data model checked
- Access rules checked
- Test as manager: no salary visible
- Test as HR: all salaries visible
Personal assistant
Everyone gets an assistant. It can do what your apps can.
Every person in the workspace has their own assistant and gives it a name of their own. It works with their permissions, knows every installed app and does what would otherwise take clicks: look things up, summarise, enter data. On the desktop and in the app for iPhone and Android.
Knows every app
Whatever an app can do on screen, the assistant can do too. Plus your files and connected accounts such as Gmail.
Asks before it changes
It only sees what you are allowed to see. Every change comes to you for approval first.
Always with you
The app for iPhone and Android puts the assistant, files and all apps on your phone, with notifications.
For the apps you build
What you build, the assistant can use right away. And it runs on the phone.
- Every described action of your app automatically becomes a tool for the assistant, with the permissions of the person asking.
- Even the preview works: test your app by asking the assistant.
- The same app runs natively in the app for iPhone and Android, from the same code. No second app, no store release of your own.

Support
You are not on your own.
Platform support is included in every plan. With a support contract we help with your own apps, review them before they go live on request and answer within fixed response times.
App Store
Ready-made apps, one click. The selection keeps growing.
In the App Store you find ready-made apps from Openbase.one and from teams who share theirs with everyone. Installing runs the published, checked version: right away, without a build. If something is missing, you build it yourself.

Free and without limits
What free means here.
No licenses. No lock-in.
No vendor decides anymore what your software can do, what each app costs or when it disappears.
No license per app
Apps from the App Store cost nothing. You pay for your workspace, never for the individual app.
Extend without limits
If something is missing, you build it. Every app of your own runs in the same workspace, with the same data and permissions.
Yours to keep
Your own apps live as git repositories in your workspace, and your data can be exported anytime. No lock-in.
Updates are an invitation
New versions come with release notes. You decide whether and when, and the previous version stays one click away.
One foundation
Many apps, one company.
Apps in Openbase.one are not islands. They work on the same data, with the same permissions and the same assistant.
One set of data
An employee is the same employee in payroll, the directory and the calendar. Apps share data instead of copying it.
On every device
Every app runs in the browser and in the app for iPhone and Android, from the same code and on the same data.
Permissions and history built in
Access rights, approvals and a complete history come from the platform, for every app, without a line of code.
So IT can sign off
Sign-in with Google, Microsoft, an email code or a password, passwords can be switched off. An audit log records who changed what.
Where it goes
A company uses 98 apps on average. We are turning them into one workspace.
Each brings its own login, its own data and its own invoice. Mail, files, meetings, payroll, banking and the website already run as apps in Openbase.one, with the same people, permissions and data. The rest follows step by step, from the App Store or as your own app.

FAQ
What teams ask first.
What is vibe coding, and why on Openbase.one?
Vibe coding means software is created from a description in plain language and AI writes the code. Many tools can do that. Openbase.one also makes sure the app can run in a company: with company sign-in, permissions, a check before every release, versions and a way back.
What happens if an app has a bug?
A version whose build or check fails does not go live in the first place. If you notice something later, you bring back the previous version in one click and describe what should change. Platform support helps with questions, a support contract helps with your own apps.
Who is responsible for an app a team builds?
The team that builds it decides the substance and releases it. Openbase.one is responsible for the environment: isolation, permissions, checks and versions. Admins see every app in the workspace.
What exactly does Openbase.one replace?
The software you pay for one by one today: mail, file storage, meetings, payroll, banking, website, wiki and more. Each of them is an app in the same workspace. Whatever the App Store does not have yet, you build as your own app.
What does an app from the App Store cost?
Nothing. There is no license per app. You pay for your workspace, and installing runs the published, already checked version, with no build and no AI cost.
Do we need developers to build our own apps?
No. You describe what you need, a build agent builds the app, and Openbase.one only asks you the domain questions. Every version is built and tested with test personas before it goes live.
What can the personal assistant do?
Every person has their own assistant with a name of their own. It works with their permissions across all installed apps, including your own, in files and in connected accounts. It always brings changes to you for approval.
Is there an Openbase.one app for the phone?
Yes, for iPhone and Android. The assistant, files and all apps run natively there, including the ones you build yourself, with no extra work.
Is Openbase.one a no-code builder?
No. You do not drag forms together. The result is real software with a data model, permissions and tests, living as a git repository in your workspace.
Who owns the apps and the data?
You do. Your own apps live in your workspace and your data can be exported anytime. Installed versions keep running even if the publisher withdraws an app.
What happens to our data when we share an app?
It stays where it is. Only the app’s design and code are shared, and screenshots are made from test data. Before you share, you see exactly what leaves the workspace.
How do our people sign in?
With Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, an email code or a password. Admins can turn passwords off and allow SSO only. Whoever leaves the company and is removed from the workspace loses access too.
Where is our data stored?
The platform’s data lives in Frankfurt. Every workspace is separated from all others at the database level, and app code can reach neither other workspaces nor the internet.
