Open Library

The Open Library is the shared part of the Openbase.one App Store: apps that teams share with everyone. Design and code are shared, never data.

What is an open library?

In general, an open library is a collection that many people fill and everyone can use. In software, that means public code collections, templates or extensions that a community shares, so not everyone has to build the same thing again.

The Open Library at Openbase.one

At Openbase.one, the Open Library is the part of the App Store where teams put their own apps for everyone. Next to the apps from Openbase.one, the store grows through the work of other teams.

How sharing works:

  • Sharing is a choice. Your own apps stay in your workspace by default.
  • Design and code are shared, never data. Screenshots come from test data.
  • You can withdraw sharing at any time. Installed versions keep running.

Installing an app runs the published, checked version immediately, without a build and without AI costs. There is no license per app. If you want to change something, you get your own copy, which you keep describing like any of your own apps. Whether installed apps update automatically or only with your approval, you set per app.

That way, not every team has to build the same solution again.

Describe your first app and watch it go live, checked.
