Nobody knows how your team works better than you do. HR knows when probation ends. Finance knows who has to sign off on a purchase. Until now, the path from that knowledge to the right software ran through an IT ticket, an agency, or a spreadsheet nobody quite understands anymore. In Openbase.one, you build the app yourself.
Describe it, don't code it
Write down, in your own words, what the app should do and who may see what. Something like this, from Lisa, head of HR at the fictional Wagner GmbH:
"An employee directory. Only HR sees salaries, managers see their own team."
A build agent turns that into the app. You don't write code, you don't file an IT ticket, you don't hire an agency.
Openbase.one only asks what's yours to decide
The technology is not your problem. Openbase.one only asks the questions that need a business decision, for example: "Does a contract end automatically after probation?" You answer the way you'd explain it to a new colleague. Databases, interfaces and hosting stay with us.
Real software, not a form builder
Openbase.one is not a no-code builder. There's no dragging and dropping, no stitching forms together. What you get is real software:
- a data model that uses your terms
- permissions per role, checked on every access
- tests that show each rule holds
The code of every app you build lives as a git repository in your workspace, and your data can be exported. The app is yours. No lock-in.
Checked before it goes live
Every version is built and checked before your colleagues see it. Openbase.one opens every page in a real browser as every test persona: as a manager, with no salary visible; as HR, with all salaries visible. If the build or the check fails, that version doesn't go live. Whether the app gets the business logic right is your team's call, and a support contract can help with that.
It runs like every other app in your workspace
Your own app isn't a special case. It runs in the same workspace as Files, Mail & Phone or Payroll, with the same people and permissions:
- Your personal assistant can work with it, using the permissions of whoever is asking, and brings every change to you for approval.
- It runs natively in the app for iPhone and Android, from the same code and the same data.
- Every version is kept, and the previous one is live again in one click.
If you want to share your app with others, you can publish it to the App Store. By default, it stays in your workspace.
What it costs
Building your own apps is included in every plan. The AI calls made while building are paid from AI credits, at the model's cost price plus a 10 % service fee. To try it out, you get a one-time 15 € AI credit, no credit card required. All plans and support contracts are on the pricing page.
Describe your first app and watch it go live, checked.
